周育如小姐演講心得 / M9610206 黃資赫

Miss Zhou's speech was certainly an interesting one. However, it also felt like watching a very entertaining commercial. Although we were shown many great designs from Agua and everyone was happy and laughing throughout the speech, I ask myself as I am writing this reflection, "what did I learn?" Projects after projects, we saw how Agua Design enjoyed its fame and was playing with all these great ideas. We also saw that Agua Design was able to play with all these materials and create fun and pretty products. But one thing that stroke me in those 2 hrs was the question asked by a student in the end. "We all think Agua is great, but how do you get all these clients to listen to you? How do you even get these larger clients?" Her response was something like, "well, we were lucky that we get good clients who pay well and are not picky." Sure, like that's the truth behind a great design firm. So what do we do? Graduate from here and go expect our clients are just as good as yours? Have you in your speech taught us anything that's valuable? Wasn't the whole speech a glorified marketing campaign for Agua? I could have gotten all that information by just going to your website. Seariously, be honest is the least you can do while you come and exploit student ideas for your own project.

hi, dear friend,
this is agua. cause it's open the site, so i make a note here.
i think you are right. i couldn't tell you how to treat the different clients. it's difficult to say. be honestly, we also have some clients who delay the cases quite often, we need to train ourselves everyday. that's our job. what i think is to grape the fruit, saissir the day. be drived by your dream. if you know your goal, you just face every challenge. well, i'm not saint. not everyone. we try our best for our dream. any question, any time.

good day.
